We are a small but enthusiastic group of actors based in Rye, East Sussex performing various shows and plays throughout the year.
Rye Writes at the Rye Arts Festival
This year’s Rye Arts Festival includes two performances of our six award-winning short plays: six distinctive voices: two unforgettable performances.
Selected from 57 submissions from around the world, the winning entries in Rye Players’ inaugural playwriting competition, Rye Writes, showcase comedy, drama, surprise and imagination. Featuring local actors and directors, these ten-minute plays celebrate both international talent and the remarkable creativity of writers from Rye and the surrounding area. Join us for an entertaining and thought-provoking Festival première on 13 September at Rye Community Centre. Tickets will be available later this year via the Festival box office.
